About the Role:
As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the estimating team through organization, administration, and document management. You will help ensure all bid-related materials are accurate, up to date, and properly distributed. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the organization and distribution of bidding documents, including plans, specifications, exhibits, preconstruction RFIs, compliance documentation, and addendums.
- Review bid documents and identify key requirements and deadlines.
- Solicit and track subcontractor and vendor quotes.
- Prepare bid packages and compile applicable supporting documentation.
- Schedule meetings, publish meeting minutes, and distribute documents and directives to the estimating team.
- Maintain organized bid files, document revision control, and accurate record keeping.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years in construction project management, estimating, bid coordination, or related field; and/or bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or similar discipline.
- Systems Knowledge: Proficient in BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, AutoCAD (viewing).
- Skills: Strong technical reading and writing skills; objective thinking and problem solving; excellent organization and attention to detail; effective communication.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, communicative, efficient, discerning, resourceful, and focused.
Position:
- Reports to Senior Vice President of Preconstruction
Physical Requirements:
- Desk and computer-based work.
- Lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
